Job Title: Volunteer Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to support the organization’s programs and events. This role involves coordinating volunteer schedules, maintaining volunteer records, and ensuring a positive and productive volunteer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies
- Conduct interviews and orientation sessions for new volunteers
- Schedule and assign volunteers to appropriate tasks and events
- Monitor volunteer performance and provide feedback and support
- Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours and activities
- Organize volunteer appreciation events and recognition programs
- Collaborate with other staff to integrate volunteers into organizational activities
- Address volunteer concerns and resolve conflicts as needed
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and safety regulations
