Job Title: Volunteer Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to support the organization’s programs and events. This role involves coordinating volunteer schedules, maintaining volunteer records, and ensuring a positive and productive volunteer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies
  • Conduct interviews and orientation sessions for new volunteers
  • Schedule and assign volunteers to appropriate tasks and events
  • Monitor volunteer performance and provide feedback and support
  • Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours and activities
  • Organize volunteer appreciation events and recognition programs
  • Collaborate with other staff to integrate volunteers into organizational activities
  • Address volunteer concerns and resolve conflicts as needed
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and safety regulations

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Experience in volunteer coordination or related field preferred
  • Ability to motivate and inspire volunteers

Working Conditions:
