Cognitive Institute of Dallas (“we,” “our,” “us”) is a nonprofit, community-driven organization dedicated to supporting indie filmmaking, family storytelling, and digital broadcasting initiatives. Participation in our programs, subscriptions, or streaming services implies consent to this policy, which addresses privacy, liability, media rights, broadcasting, fees, refunds, non-disparagement, legal arbitration, and community transparency.

Healthy Families First Broadcast & Media and The Cognitive Institute of Dallas, INC. prioritize transparency. All subscribers and participants must carefully read and understand all contracts, terms of service, and policies. Your use of our services constitutes your agreement that you have performed due diligence, understood all obligations, and accepted all terms. Failure to read these documents will not constitute a defense in any dispute.

As a nonprofit entity, Healthy Families First Broadcast & Media, in collaboration with The Cognitive Institute of Dallas, INC., charges a nominal fee to maintain overhead, technical infrastructure, and community programming. These fees are reinvested into educational initiatives, indie film productions, and digital inclusion programs. By subscribing, you acknowledge and accept that all fees are non-refundable and necessary to sustain operations.

Healthy Families First Broadcast & Media and The Cognitive Institute of Dallas, INC. provide no refunds for subscriptions or fees once access is granted. Our digital content is delivered immediately upon payment. This policy is consistent with 17 U.S.C. § 106 (Copyright Law) and standard nonprofit digital service practices. Users are strongly encouraged to utilize the free trial period before subscribing.

Subscribers, contributors, and participants agree not to make disparaging, defamatory, or negative public statements, posts, or communications regarding Healthy Families First Broadcast & Media, The Cognitive Institute of Dallas, INC., staff, or services. Any violations may trigger legal action, including claims for injunctive relief or damages, consistent with common law and nonprofit protections. This policy applies across social media, forums, and all public or community communications.

All disputes or claims arising from use of our services will be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) or an equivalent governing body. By subscribing, you waive the right to file a class action lawsuit or participate in a class arbitration. Arbitration decisions are final and enforceable under the Federal Arbitration Act (9 U.S.C. § 1 et seq.).

All content is legally sourced and compliant with applicable copyright, trademark, and broadcast regulations. Participants acknowledge the organization’s mission to “pass it on” and agree to follow all rules and guidelines to maintain a safe and educational environment.

Subscriber billing is handled exclusively through secure third-party payment processors. Healthy Families First Broadcast & Media and The Cognitive Institute of Dallas, INC. do not store payment information directly. Personal data is used only to provide services, technical support, and community engagement. We comply with all applicable privacy laws and maintain strict safeguards to protect subscriber information.

Subscribers acknowledge that Healthy Families First Broadcast & Media and The Cognitive Institute of Dallas, INC. have secured all necessary copyrights, trademarks, music licenses, and talent/location releases for all broadcast and film content. Unauthorized use, copying, or distribution is strictly prohibited and subject to legal enforcement under 17 U.S.C. § 501 et seq. All chain-of-title documentation is maintained and available upon request for verification.

All participants, talent, and contractors must sign written agreements, including employment, independent contractor, financing, and distribution agreements. These documents form binding contracts enforceable under state and federal law. Healthy Families First Broadcast & Media and The Cognitive Institute of Dallas, INC. maintain full records of all agreements to ensure compliance and legal protection.

Healthy Families First Broadcast & Media and The Cognitive Institute of Dallas, INC. comply with federal and state labor regulations, including proper classification of employees versus independent contractors. Union regulations (SAG-AFTRA, DGA, WGA) are strictly followed when applicable. Misclassification claims or labor disputes are addressed in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act and applicable state laws.

All productions and broadcasting activities are covered by Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance and general production insurance. This protects Healthy Families First Broadcast & Media and The Cognitive Institute of Dallas, INC. against claims related to copyright infringement, defamation, invasion of privacy, or accidents on set. Insurance documentation is available for verification upon request.

All broadcasts comply with FCC regulations and applicable content standards, including rules on indecency, copyright, and content licensing. Subscribers acknowledge that Healthy Families First Broadcast & Media and The Cognitive Institute of Dallas, INC. operate under all legal obligations related to broadcast investment, licensing, and distribution. Any disputes are subject to arbitration as outlined above.
